Can anyone help with a broken TMT please 🙏

Hi everyone, Im in the UK and started printing TMTs at the beginning of March, managed to get 2 done. I am disabled myself so I can’t deliver the TMTs myself but I made sure I spoke to the families to make sure we had a way to get it to them. First one met half way and I managed to get my parents to take it for me. The second one we could only do it by courier. I believed it would be fine, I chose DPD it was super well packed, wrapped up and had fragile all over it. I learned DO NOT TRUST COURIERS :sob: they managed to smash one handle and the entire back caster housing  I honestly thought it would be fine but I think it was either thrown or dropped. Anyway long story short the recipients mum has said if I reprint and send the broken parts she will try and swap them out. I know this would be do-able for anyone who’s built one but as she has no clue how to do this I’m looking for someone who might be building one/have the parts where they could do a video to show her how to unlock the parts to replace the broken bits, is there anyone who can do this? I know this is a huge ask and I don’t know if anyone could do this but I’m honestly worried she won’t be able to do it and then I’m not sure what to do. If anyone could help at all I’d be so grateful as would the family, I can’t even jump on a video call with her to try and help due to my disability. I can pay for your time or whatever if needed. I just really need help as the TMt will help change the little girls life and I feel terrible for supplying it broken. sorry for the long ramble but just desperate for help. tia regards Sarah

I will be writing a thread on how to disassemble and pack these probably tonight, but here are some pictures–I hope that helps. I’m sorry but I don’t have time to write detailed instructions at the moment, but in a nutshell: remove the handle, flip the chair upside down, using pictured tools, pop out the middle bar that connects 2 sides of the chair, than flip the chair, and pop the bar that connects the back. This will unlock the caster housing.

That’s super helpful Thankyou so much! A disassembly thread will be great too.

Unfortunately I’m no good at video. But a disassembly/reassembly guide would be super helpful, as no doubt some of these will get broken and/or worn out eventually and will need repairs.

For the 2 that I’ve delivered so far, I gave the families my contact info in case they have any issues, but I hadn’t really thought about how we would go about replacing these parts as they are all locked together in a certain order.
