I plan to just position this a little below the strap holes. You can’t really get away from the holes in the bottom cushion but that one is an easy print.
In the build instructions, it shows the harness straps going behindthose holes, not through them. I thought that seemed odd at first, but you are just securing the straps to the frame. There’s not reason to thread them through the holes there.
Of course the bottom cushion is different, you do need to put the straps through the holes on that one.

Looks great! Are you cleaning up that stringing with a soldering iron or nippers or something else?

Nope I just pick it off with my hands. It mostly comes off and anything little that stays is harmless so I just leave it, eventually through use it’ll come off.

after more looking and feedback it seems that some families are using the vertical slots to add chest straps. the smaller horizontal holes are not being used
