The emails I get telling me that there is a new build opportunity near me don’t match my location and the preferences I set in my account. E.g. I put in 40 mile radius in my settings and the email I got this morning is about 90 miles away from me. Am I doing something wrong?
And it would be a nice QoL change if the email link takes me directly to the new request vs. the community map in general, don’t know if that’s possible.

I remember originally (before the new site) when I signed up to be a maker it said anything within 100 miles it would send to me. That may still be the default. I’m sure @MakeGood_Noam will know more

another suggestion: not a big deal, but it would be nice if the radius on the “Ready for Me” page and the map had the same options. My “Ready for Me” page shows requests with 250 miles, but on the map there isn’t an option for 250. It could be cool if there was a link on the “Ready for Me” page that would take us to the map and show the same requests.
That would be great! Having the account setting be the ‘single source of truth/preference’ that is applied to default map view and emails would be efficient.
On the map it would be great if we could message makers directly by clicking on them. There are three TMTs by Harrisburg, Pa. One over 100 days. There are several builders in the area, one right next to them. They have no builds to their credit. I’m going to try to DM them, but It would be great if you could do it from the map.
@MakeGood_Noam should requests for features be submitted here or by the Bug button? Is there a specific place to make suggestions?
Ok - I can’t even figure out how to DM someone…. Dang… I’m turning into my father…lol I can’t find the person on the map through messages.
Not all the makers are here on the forum. If they are within 100 miles of you, you can message them through the maker dashboard.
Thanks you two, I’m going to do this tomorrow and see who is active. That one is over 120 days waiting, unfortunately the builder must be more than 100 miles from me…
