They meant to place this in Mexico but due to the zip code matching one in Michigan, it’s placed in the wrong location on the map and notifying people in the wrong radius.
Ok that makes more sense. I’m sure as more of these get done things will get adjusted so we see more of the info needed before accepting or declining a job.
As of right now before I actually take the job unless they have made extra comments I cant see the color wanted which we have already talked about. There was something else but of course I am drawing a blank right now. My apologies.
Some additional info after accepting the job - it would be nice if we had a contact person (name/phone number) at the drop off location. Our first drop off they had no idea we were coming and it took a good while to figure out who the chair was for. They couldn’t locate the patient from the print out at the end.
Thank you for this VERY valuable feedback. The dropoff is always tricky. We will modify the printout to have the recipient name and also be more specific when gathering dropoff instructions
no you are actually helping us a TON. All of these little things are important and need to be fixed. because you flagged this we have found more that are shown in the wrong location, and are setting up a location auditing system
@MakeGood_Noam , @MakeGoodScott I’ve volunteered with lots of groups over the years. Admin being so responsive to volunteer feedback is a breath of fresh air. Thank you for being open to ideas!
If there was a way to impart the importance of their story. A few sentences is all it takes, but it will influence what build I’m picking first (I’ll build all I can) How could I not build this one? Again I’ll build them all, but I’m starting here.
You have all the information, you have vetted the family, but we are donating hundreds of hours of printer time and dozens of actual hours of our time to fabricate one of these wonderful devices. We need a reason to want to build it (at least I do) something to keep me going when another part fails, I get a blob… a jamb… etc… The story is what keeps me going on my current build, when other priorities are pulling me away from this project.
