I’ve attempted printing the front caster mounts from REV B (CONNECTORS plate) a few times and it starts fine but then fails about 2/3 of the way through. I broke them out onto their own plate (this worked best for me on my last chair). It almost seems like it needs more support or a reorientation because it’s printing mid air. I’m using the default plate setting so have supports on the very bottom of the pieces (against the build plate), but nothing in the center where the caster slides in.
Anyone running into this issue? Have you found a fix? Attached is sliced plate from Bambu Handy and example of my failed print.
They have printed fine for me. Make sure your plate is clean. If using the stock bambu pei plate put some Elmer’s glue stick on them and that will help. Also you can bump the bed temp up to 80°C and that will help some as well
I have always printed them on their own plate because they have given me tons of issues. But the newest version with the angle like in your screenshot printed fine for me first try. You could probably add more supports by painting them if you need but that one did work well for me.
Let me try the bed temp! My plate is clean and I’m using the glue stick. The adhesion is great on the initial 2/3 of the print. It’s when we get to to the overhang that it starts failing.
