Wing and Wheelmount crack

I had a problem with the wing connecting to the wheel mount piece. The wing insertion appears to be a mm too large to fit into the mount, causing a crack. Is there any hope in super-gluing the crack vs. reprinting the piece, but how do I prevent it from happening again?

Make sure that both sides, male and female, are clean as a whistle. I use an xacto knife to make sure they’re smooth. The fit is tight but, yes, it should be.

Same answer as gramps but I use needle nose pliers to get the big stuff, a deburring tool on the edges, then sandpaper on the flat parts.

Same as @GrampsDesigns and @ChristiK. Make sure all the supports are cleaned off really well. I use a Fanttik rotary tool and get them down really smooth and flat. Not the cheapest but has been so very worth the cost! There is a cheaper version as well but I have no experience with it. I also print with 3 walls instead of 2.

I have that tool too! I have yet to figure out which of the bazillion tips is best for our TMT work.

(I also cracked a wing and wheel mount and went through a despondent couple of days before reseating (heh) myself)

I’ve tried several. This is the one I think I was using last and was working really well…
