Deliveries in the UK

I’ve just finished my first chair, and am ready to have it inspected and delivered, but now I’ve now realised that I’m not delivering directly to the family, but rather to a shared space.

I understand it is by design so we don’t cross paths, but the family have chosen a library (I don’t think we have the clinics discussed in other posts in the areas) and I’m a bit confused as to the plan.
I’m meant to deliver the device an hour before the family come - am I just leaving it somewhere?
I don’t see why the library staff would be involved, and asking them to watch a random chair for a random person as I leave is only going to cause confusion and possibly panic.

Am I missing something on the delivery idea?

I always call the delivery place and make sure they are aware of what’s going on before I go there. The first delivery was a very confusing interaction so I learned my lesson.

the family is supposed to coordinate with the dropoff location. We also changed the platform allowing for meeting up if both parties agree.

That’s awesome, thanks for making that change. It’s made the drop off much easier with this family, and I’m sure for many other people.
