Getting TPU ready, tips you wish you knew!

New to TPU, and have seen some nightmare stories! About to start my tpu journey, got sunlu 95A and using a Bambu A1.

I’ll dry it like mad to start with! I’ve also seen mention here of a “perfect tpu profile” or something so tempted to try that!

Just wondered if there’s any tips you’d give. I think I’ll start with the smaller pieces so waste will be less!

  • Loosen tension screw on your printhead by 1/2 - 1 revolution.
  • Do a full calibration yourself for your printer and your filament.
  • make sure avoid crossing perimeters is checked.
  • Use PLA supports if possible.

I have been trying to go through and created my own file with all the straps and harness stuff. Where I can print faster but still get good quality. Still very much a work in progress. But the one thing I have learned is this.

Move the 3 straps with no loops (Lap strap, Storage strap & Long strap to a plate on their own, set that plate to print by object, and vase mode. The straps come out perfect every time.
