Help with buckle and slides?!

i have been trying to print buckles and slides so many times and they keep failing.. what am I doing wrong ?!?

It looks like some of them are coming off the plate, right? If so, give it a good cleaning and then put down a good layer of glue. A while back Noam recommended a glue named Nano Polymer that is available on Amazon. I got a bottle and it works great.

Wash your plate really well with hot water and dawn dish soap. And I would take some elmers purple glue stick and put 2 lines on the plate, take a wet paper towel and swirl it around all over the plate until the purple lines are gone and your left with a “milky” film all over the plate.

I’m now religious about this glue stick technique because of you. It rocks

Doing this now! Thank you!

Hopefully it helps! I listened to @MakeGoodScott and bought some Kdeavi plates and don’t have to mess with the glue anymore lol.

I do what NWCC does with the wet paper towel now (per his suggestion) and it is rock solid… now I’m going to take a look at these plates he is talking about since he is batting a 1000 so far! lol

BQ Cryogrip ProGlacier plates have been great for these. I have not had to use glue yet. Amazon.com: BIQU CryoGrip Pro Glacier Build Plate for Snap-Maker U1 3D Printer, Low Temperature Printing, Double-Sided Spring Steel Sheet, 276X301mm, 1 Piece : Industrial & Scientific

Does your Printer recognize the plate code? Thanks - I have some older Bambu plates and my P2S does not recognize the bambu code.

The A1’s don’t read it and the X2D does not recognize it, but I just turned off checking that at the start of the print. It still checks alignment and all that.

Awesome! That’s great to hear!

You all are making me nervous here with my unwashed (never washed) textured plates!

The only issue I’ve had is on the TMT and some of the first layer of the support trees don’t stick, but it works out in the long run thanks to the smart bridging and such of the printer.
