First printer here, just starting to slice and I’ve read there is to be no modifying the files etc, completely understand. That said, how much are we allowed to change things around? I open the 3mf and see the 0.20mm profile selected.
Is it strictly open that and print?!
Being a bed slinger A1 I often find different orientation of the parts can help with printing, can I reorientate?
Speeds I may slow down, multiple other slicer settings I may adjust to help with any failures etc if they crop up.
This is really a @MakeGood_Noam type of question, but there are several here that could give you all the input you need.
Don’t reorient parts. - My A1 will print all the parts. I just cut acceleration down by about 50% and keep all the speeds under 200 mm/s. When you slice and you check speed, the slicer knows when to slow things down.
I’ve added supports on a plate or two where needed (footrest) (TPU Top handle).
You don’t want to change anything that will affect the strength of the part negatively. So profile is two walls. Many here print three walls for example. I’m sure you will get better answers than these, but this will get you started. Congratulations and welcome. Thank you for being here.
