Purple PETG leads

Anyone have a good link to bulk purple petg? I’m having trouble finding purple in stock anywhere, let alone in bulk.

I got 10 spools from Numakers just a few weeks ago. In the rewards section on the maker dashboard there is a discount code. I think Schoolhouse spools had some as well last time I looked

Yeah just looked again and Numakers has some. It was good filament for us. Can use the Bambu PETG-HF profile

Looks like Schoolhouse has Purple as well.

I have also used this and it prints VERY well. Little more money but can get it faster

They have bulk options available as well.

school house spools. its good stuff and run by good people

I plan to try them out for the next build. Their price is the best I have seen so far. Plus it looks like they are giving a rather large discount once you reach 5 builds as well.

oh wow I didn’t even see the rewards section! Guess I’ll try schoolhouse. thanks!

I’ve been using this exact Sunlu purple and it looks really cute. I haven’t tried any other brands of PETG yet to compare quality though.

I’m really nervous to offend whoever is running School House Spools because I think they may be here, but I feel apprehensive to order, because the AI images/logo make it seem sketchy. (I am not trying to discourage anyone or anything like that, I just wanted to address my own feelings about it)

I havent ordered from them yet but I get the feeling from others around here that they are good people and good filament. I have seen @MakeGood_Noam mention them several times. They also beat anyone else’s prices. I will be giving them a shot the next time I order for a chair.

FWIW They are a vetted Shopify Shop, so that’s something.

Seem to be legit, Noam and a couple of others have vouched for them, etc.

However - they do NOT ship quickly. Ordered during the day Feb 24th, was first supposed to arrive the 4th, now the 6th - I’m only a few states away from them.

Will see how it goes.

It should also be noted that you have to order in batches of 12.

I noticed that as well. But thankfully it seems you don’t have to buy 12 of one single color, just has to add up to a multiple of 12.

i have bought from school house a few times (including today) and have only had good experiences. On my last order, they were out of stock on something and promptly reached out with a suggestion to resolve. The owner is very involved with this project and is a great guy.

Its a small operation and we are wildly spoiled by Amazon. A couple days to ship an order, plus not charging separately for freight and having great prices gives them some leeway in my book.

Yeah, that’s fair, but of course we’ve got MakeGood automated mails saying to upload build photos while still waiting on filament.

It showed up today, so a few days later vs original date when ordered, but a day before UPS said. Was packaged fine IMO; have the first roll being dried now.

Yeah I wish they would adjust those. It asks you when you claim the job how long you think it will take. It should wait until a few days from the end of that time to email you reminding you. But you can ignore that. Just send the family a message explaining you are behind waiting on filament to arrive. All of the ones I have done have been super patient and just appreciative that you are making it for them more than anything.

I just placed my first order with School House. Looking forward to seeing how well it prints when it comes in.

The purple from school house is one of our favorites here at MakeGood it’s a deep rich color.

The guy running school house is the same person organizing the filament and hardware kits, and also was key to getting the maker platform running. He’s a great guy, extremely modest, and is giving tons of time and resources to this project. His filament is the bomb and is a good price and we are happy to order most of our MakeGood filament from them.

Do you know the specs for the School House PETG. Interested in the suggested speed/flow number. There are “older” PETG formulations that require a slower print speed. Some newer products allow faster speed. I want to know which kind this is.
