Awesome this is great news! I will look into it once I am done with this current print.

It would be nice to get some more information on the included filaments and maybe print profile suggestions.

The default Bambu lab PETG-HF print profile works great for the PETG. For the TPU we use the bambu lab TPU for AMS profile.

Great to know!

@MakeGood_Noam it doesn’t look like the H profiles were updated completely. I don’t see the other caster brackets and the headrest/screw look the same as before I think.

Is $40 shipping correct for the filament kits?

I just checked I was getting ~$40 for a full kit and ~$10 for just parts for me.

That’s what I was getting as well.

I have a feeling that is pretty correct, it can’t be a light box to ship with 11 rolls of filament plus the parts.

Until we ship enough we don’t get the best discounts with carriers. It will come down in time. even at 140 to your door you’re getting the 25$ parts kit, 9kg of PETG and 2kg of tpu. subtracting out the 25 for parts its now 115. roughly at 11.50 a KG for filament delivered. Thats pretty dang good.

I think it would be cheaper using the 20% coupon to get 10 spools for 90 then with free shipping.

Thats a reward where I’m eating shipping. meant to entice people to make TMTs at my expense.

You cant touch the hardware for as cheap as Scott is selling it. $140 is a very good price when you don’t have to go around getting each part and all. One stop shop and supporting someone that’s put in a TON of work for the makegood platform with the new site and all!

Yeah the previous chairs I made I was getting all the filament for around $140 but then had to get parts as well.

@MakeGoodScott not sure what discounts you get as a business but I have always used pirateship.com for cheap shipping options. Is the rate you are using flat rate so if I can claim and order multiple kits at once does that save shipping for you?

Its setup as flat rate right now. Lemme try the dynamic pricing model on them. It doesnt save me anything, actually it hurts. since I have to send these out as multiple packages.

Ok, then be careful. I put a couple in my cart and the shipping didn’t update past $40. I wouldn’t want you to have to cover that. If it is flat maybe just make the kits $140 with free shipping and then when people donate the 140 it’s covered?

ok just updated to dynamic pricing. we’ll see how this goes. it should be pretty accurate. if i see it costing more than billing i’ll need to adjust.

lol you guys are quick. in the time it took me to update weights 3 orders came in with silly shipping amounts.

Haha I haven’t placed anything yet. I just checked and it shows ~$33 for one kit now.

@MakeGoodScott don’t cut yourself short! I didn’t realize that you were the one shipping these out. I thought they were coming from Schoolhouse directly.
