The .6mm nozzle files need to be deleted and tested and fixed on Makerworld

I lost a lot of time and money printing the .6mm files and they don’t seem safe or tested at all. I really want to make nice chairs for these kids, and assumed that those .6mm nozzle files would be safe and tested but they aren’t. Having an option would be great, but it needs to be removed until it is fixed so other people don’t lose time and money on them.

I know it has been talked about taking them down. I believe a few others have found the issue to be “combined infill”. Turn that off and see if it helps. I have not tried it yet. But I too lost a lot of time with the infill sagging on those profiles. I print all of the parts on my Qidi Q2’s with a .6 in way less time than I can on my A1’s and no issues at all.

I quit using that profile. It led to too many problems causing me to reprint. I, too, wish it would just disappear.

I’ve printed two chairs with nearly all parts done on 0.6mm nozzles. I started with the files posted to the Google drive and just switched nozzle size in bambu studio. I wonder what’s different with the files on makerworld

Found where someone posted it…

I just finished printing a chair with 0.6mm nozzle–the only part I had issues with were wheels–top layer had holes and sagging. I bumped up infill (gyroid) from 10% that was default to 20% and this issue completely disappeared. All other parts came out fine, even TPU straps

Did you use the profile from makerworld or did you make your own?

MakerWorld—10% infill on everything makes me nervous, but I decided to give it a chance, since it looks like it was extensively tested.

Yeah that’s the profile everyone is having issues with. I know I wasted a few spools of filament on it. I have not tried it since someone found the combine infill was on for it but I think that will fix it most likely. I also have been printing 3 walls on everything after I broke a few parts assembling. I have been doing 10% infill on my Qidi printers with a .6 nozzle with no issues.

Interesting, I have been using Orca Slicer with Bambu P1S—this is the only part that had issues. Combined infill was on. I forgot to mention, that I did bump up wall count to 5.

I was printing from Bambu Studio. So not sure if that is making a difference or not. But I will be trying it again on my next chair with the infill combination turned off and see how it goes. These last 2 I have been printing I did all the PETG parts on my 2 Qidi Q2’s and did all the TPU on one of the A1’s with a .4 nozzle. I have some 98A tpu that I want to see if it will work in the AMS and if so I will do the cushions and tires with a .6 nozzle and just do the straps with the .4

I am almost done with my 2nd TMT. I have printed all of the PETG parts with an 0.6mm nozzle. I took the profile from Makerworld and turned off “infill combination”. They seem to be coming out fine.

Ive asked MakerWorld to remove this profile. I need to reach out to them directly i guess.

In the meantime, maybe you can add a PSA in the updates section of your description that that profile is not endorsed? Just a suggestion about something you may have more control over

yes I added a bold note in the description, please also report the profile - thanks

Looks like it’s been removed!

Just another +1 to turning off combined infill. After I did that, I had no trouble printing the entire chair with the 0.6 profile posted on MakerWorld. Saved a lot of time as well.

OK - I will see if we can get that setting changed and reuploaded
