I have not typically experienced many issues with TPU, but the first couple tests for the handle did not go well after only 10-15 mins. You can see in the picture it seems to fail right around where the gyroid infill lines meet the wall. Both tests failed the same way.
It was dried 18 hours prior to printing, and running Bambu’s settings for this (Bambu 95a)
Are you typically adding support or changing infill types or styles to get success?
I use PETG as support for the TPU for the bottom bit. Works great. Here’s my sample.
1 Orig post said PLA. Upon double check it was petg.
Roger that, thank you! Mind sharing what support settings seem to work best for this? I’ve got 2 dual extruder machines, so I can definitely set it up for PLA on the other nozzle.

I also bumped up the bottom layers so that those first outer layers that when you look at the sliced part are “over hang” layers, have a solid layer. Mine was splitting right at the base because the overhang layer wasn’t adhering and with only one other wall would pull apart.
The overhang on the bottom of the handle grip is tough without multimaterial supports. I modified the model to have a clean ~45* bevel instead of the rounded edge. Doesn’t look as nice as the rounded bottom, but it prints much cleaner.

I’m glad you asked as when I went to check it was marked as petg support (not PLA). Sorry for the mix up. I’ve been using PLA to support petg and it got stuck in my head.
I highly encourage you to slice off the bottom part of the handle and run some of your own tests.
@ChristiK can you help me work through how you setup the support on this? Did you have to modify the shape or paint on supports? I’ve not done that yet, so I’m unfamiliar with the process.
I painted on the support in the area that is purple on the screenshot
Make sure you’re editing per OBJECT and not globally. I can give more detailed instructions when I get back home.
BTW Christi, you’re a hero. This was perfect. Thank you for your help!

I ended up changing the round filet over to a chamfer and have not had any problems at all. No supports anywhere. Just printing super slow
