Using new rolls of tpu I’ve tried drying up to 24 hours its a 9 percent humidity i got 12 tires printed great now all of a sudden my print will make it anywhere from a few layers to 3/4 done then it stops extruded I’m printing at 40mms I’ve tried temp up and down 5 degrees I’ve tired running with dryer on and off I’ve tried new nozzles always cold pulled old nozzles ive tried the perfect tpu profile on maker world and no change I’ve had this happen about 18 time now any help is appreciated
If the TPU is dry and STAYS dry. If the path has low resistance. Could be a problem with the filament size. Someone mentioned they used their micrometer and found the diameter to big and the extruder couldn’t feed it properly. This is the setup I’m using on my Bambu A1.
I’m using same setup just with dryer box instead of your box its driving me crazy I’ve wasted so much time and filament just makes no sense that I got so many successful prints
Hang in there, take a day off. You’ll figure it out.
Thanks just checked diameter of filament its 1.76 to 1.61 in spots
Well you would think it would still print at 1.61, but I am no expert there.
What temperature did you dry at? And what brand of TPU is this?
What’s your retraction distance? Some people try really aggressive retraction settings to reduce stringing and blobbing with TPU. This works, until it doesn’t. Filament can build up in the heat break and eventually cause a clog.
