Hardware and Filament Kits (USA only) + Rev B Changes

Again, I did not realize that! Don’t cut yourself short.

dynamic shipping seems to be working now. charging what seems to be a reasonable amount. lot of people ordering 2 kits at a time.

Yeah good thing you changed it, it was $40 flat rate before with 2 kits. Oddly now when I put 2 kits it shows me $75 shipping but with 1 it is only $30. So would make more sense to order separately.

Its not smart enough to know its 2 of the same box. it thinks its sticking both into 1 box, putting it over length, causing the extra cost. trying to figure that out now.

Oh yeah that isn’t your fault! Shipping systems are a pain.

Its late. its kinda working. gona get some rest. it looks like its not native in shopify. so going to need a plugin to figure it out.

As long as you are not losing money it is safe to sleep.

On this project i’m not terribly worried about it. it’ll work itself out in the end.

Can’t wait until you can ship to Canada. it costs closer to $300 per chair

@MakeGood_Noam or @MakeGoodScott will the makerworld profile be updated with the new revision B files? And with the new revision do we now have a complete STEP file with the handle and head rest available?

MakerWorld files have all been updated, same with google drive. The new complete step assembly is not a priority right but, but we are slowly updating it.

@MakeGoodScott Is there any chance you could sell me just the rear caster? I had bought all the hardware for 2 TMTs so I don’t want to have excess stuff, but the McMaster blue caster is a little hard to use (I actually smashed my finger in it but that was my own fault)

I dont think I have an extra currently. Let me add in “spare” parts to the next order im putting together now. Then can sell just single parts. I think the big and little casters are the hardest to get/most expensive here.

Can you/someone share the Google Drive link again, please? I thought I bookmarked it, but apparently I didn’t.

you CANNOT mix casters. Either use all kit or all self-sourced hardware

Do you leverage a shipping service like PirateShip.com? They have the best rates for small businesses. It’s what I use for my outbound orders, and even was what we were using at Numakers when I was still working there.

Ok that is really good to know. I bought the casters that were linked in the PDF so I have 10 of the small ones left haha… Is there any other rear caster that’s more safe and does work with those? *Edit: I’m going to add this to the thread about Rev A/B parts mixing instead

Quick question. I just finished the PETG prints on my first build using the Rev A. Should I re-print with new changes for front caster supports, handle, and headrest? I’m assuming it helps with some durability or comfort.

Yeah, could you let us know what the changes are in rev b?
Also, on the Makerworld H2D profile, the front casters seem to still be rev A, unless I’m confused about which parts should have changed?

please read the release notes at the top of this post. the makerworld h2D profile is showing the updated rear caster mounts. Make sure you are downloading the latest and not using a local copy.
