I used the “ask family a question” and have not heard back. Would a reply show up in the regular messages area of the dashboard or is there somewhere else I should be looking?
Im not sure on this one. I cant even see those messages in the admin panel (I probably just not looking in the right place) Maybe @MakeGoodScott can explain it to us lol
You should be able to just click on the ask a question button again and you’ll see the thread.
Although for me, the admins showed me there was a reply, and it didn’t show up in that section.
This is a call to action!
That was it. I see it when I re click the ask a question button. I also see the “awaiting reply”. So I guess I didn’t miss a reply!
bug fixed. they will be there now.
Im new to this organization,
Ive seen many issues internally already.
Having to go through 4 places to get answers , and the 4th was here ,finally.
I have cerebral palsy, I can’t afford to buy filament. What I do is design things, I get points, I get printers ,filament etc with those points. Finally after an all day hunt.
Ive gotten most my answers here.
I have looked a requests ,but would also like to ask them about color choices , before I place an order, and or accept. Ill try and do the request, reguardless, just want some info, so both sides are in agreement.
First one is close and waiting little over 30 days, others have been waiting much longer.
Have any corporation been contacted about filament and parts donations.
I also saw in one place were hardware was 25 then to find its 44 .
And pages aren’t working on the site.
Thank you for your time
John, Welcome - glad you are here. This is a big work in progress. I am currently working on my 5th TMT. Everyone here is very helpful, but remember, with any new project things are changing fast. For example the prices of the kit parts. Scott has been working very hard to put these together for us. Previously you had to source everything individually, so to get the correct washer I had to buy a bag of 100 lol… Prices have changed for various reasons, but everything is being done to keep the cost as low as possible. They are working on making donations go to specific TMT’s so you could get a full kit free and then build and deliver it. Long story short… This is a great project, we are helping a lot of families, it is all worth it, hang in there.
This is the reason:
Very well said as always @Little_Charlie !!
@SNUGS.3D You can ask a family a question before you claim a build. Scott just fixed a bug with this last night. One of the biggest hurdles we have been dealing with is emails from the site going to the family’s spam folder. So if you send them a message and don’t hear back in a day or 2, just shoot an Admin message with the request number and myself or one of the other admins will see if we can get in touch with them.
I just want to be sure , because I saw conflicting info
