A local Facebook group has decided to join forces for doing a minimum of one build, with a local store donating 10 rolls of filament. I’ve already completed and approved on the vetting, so we chose our recipient, a local family. Right now, I’m the only Maker in a 100 mile radius. Middle Georgia 3D Printing Group
One of the requests from the family was Ms Rachel and that the 2yr old girl loves purple. So, she’ll be receiving a purple chair, with pink cushions and Ms Rachel wheels. I’m thinking that the tires should be a combination of Yellow & Orange to represent the sun in the hubcap. The straps and harness will be Blue, to look like Ms Rachels overalls. My wife and step-daughter want to deliver the chair once it’s finished, with both of them dressed as Ms Rachel. She also wants to buy a pack of pink shirts for the little girl so she looks like Ms Rachel when she’s strapped in her chair. I’ll be honest - just thinking about the final assembly and delivery brings tears to my eyes.
