Yes, soon, when kits are available (they just got imported to the USA - so very soon), we will turn on donations and kits can be fully funded for makers.
Thank you, so do we just keep our eye on the dashboard and eventually there will be an option to claim a kit along with a build? Or is there another route for us to take to ensure a kit or two?
builds will either be sponsored or non sponsored. If sponsored you will get a free kit, is non sponsored you will have to purchase for 100$ (or otherwise source your materials)
Without looking it up, how do we get a sponsored build?
They aren’t quite doing that yet. But should be soon. RIght now everything is 100% maker sponsored.
That’s understandable. I’ve had a few people say that they would love to donate for the cost of the hardware kit for the builds.
I believe a few people have done gofundme stuff. But I have seen @MakeGood_Noam say that for now it is ok to take direct donations.
They need more purple and pink. Ha
Pink and Purple seems to be scarce in EVERY manufacturer, from what I’ve been seeing. Our first build is Pink & Purple, of course.
Mine too. Sunlu had it on Amazon. But I want to get numakers or school house spools next since they work with makegood and have discount codes.
My last 4 have been pink and purple with a bit of yellow or teal for good measure…![]()
I have 15 kg of blue, 7 kg of green, 8 kg of orange and 15 kg of red… haven’t touched a spool in the last two months…![]()
I wanted a to do a little boys build, with a Spiderman theme. Just because. LOL
I was actually glad to see the next one in my area will be green and orange rather than pink/purple.
Anyone know of a discount code for NuMakers if they work with MakeGood?
There is a discount code in the rewards section of your dashboard.
Cool, found it. Thank you!
The hardware kits say that they’re for sale to vetted makers only. Can a non-vetted person purchase one in a makers name? I honestly HATE asking someone to send me money. I’d rather they paid for the kit and have it shipped to me.
That is a @MakeGoodScott question
Its ok. Just trying to not let the filament kits become a source for cheap filament.
They’re just wanting to order the hardware kit, not the filament
